Location
The Wedding day and Sunday breakfast will take place at Lova’s family’s country home approximately one hour south of Stockholm in the countryside. The Welcome gathering will be hosted at the NHR Camp, conveniently located next door to the house, where accommodations have been reserved for out-of-town guests.
Nearest Airports:
Arlanda Airport (ARN): Located approximately 90 minutes north of the venue, and about 30 minutes from Stockholm city.
Skavsta Airport: A smaller airport near Nyköping, about 50 minutes south west. Skavsta serves fewer airlines and is about 1 hour from Stockholm by car.
Transportation:
We strongly recommend renting a car to fully enjoy the beautiful countryside and have flexibility throughout the weekend.
Public transport (bus or train) is available to the nearby town of Vagnhärad, but you will need additional transportation from there to the venue. If you plan to take public transport, please let us know in advance so we can arrange a pickup.

At Venue
We’ve reserved some accommodations at NHR Camp, located on the waterfront, diretly next to Lova’s family’s country home, from Thursday, August 14, to Sunday, August 17. These are available on a first-come, first-serve basis for our out-of-town guests. If you’re interested, please let us know and we’ll confirm availability.

For those who prefer to stay in the charming and picturesque town of Trosa, located just 20 minutes by car from the venue, we recommend:
Please note: If you choose to stay in Trosa and don’t plan to drive to the wedding location, taxis will need to be pre-booked for travel during the wedding weekend. There is no public transportation.
Airbnb Options
For a more private experience, there are a few Airbnb properties available near the venue. However, please note that these are likely not within walking distance and you will need to drive to the wedding events.

Trosa
Trosa, charmingly nicknamed “the world’s end,” is a small coastal town about 25 minutes by car from Mättinge, Solgläntan. It’s lovely for a stroll, with cozy cafés, restaurants, and a lively guest harbor. You’ll also find the nearest grocery stores here: ICA Trossen (larger, just outside town) and COOP (smaller, in the center), as well as a pharmacy.
Fun fact: Trosa also means “underwear” in Swedish - making it possibly the cutest name for a town at the end of the world.

Nynäs slott
Nynäs Slott is a beautiful old estate nestled in nature, just a short drive from Mättinge. You can wander through the castle grounds, explore forest trails, or enjoy a coffee at the charming café. It’s a peaceful spot that feels like a step back in time - perfect for a quiet break or a scenic walk.
There’s also a small museum inside the castle, offering a glimpse into the estate’s history and life in past centuries.

Stendörrren Naturreservat
Stendörren Nature Reserve is a stunning coastal spot between Nyköping and Trosa, with rocky shores, pine forests, and sweeping sea views. Suspension bridges connect the islands, so you can explore the archipelago on foot - no boat needed.
There are scenic trails, swim spots, picnic areas, and a small museum and visitor center with summer activities. Perfect for a peaceful walk or a dip in the Baltic, just a short drive from Mättinge.
